Lisa’s Cuvee

Callaghan’s signature, aromatic white blend shows off Kent’s talent as both a grower and winemaker.  From his mixed vineyard block of white grapes, this blend often contains between three to ten different white varieties with the majority being aromatic grapes such as Malvasia, Viognier and Vermentino.  Some of the varieties are picked early to provide fresh acidity.  Some varieties are co-fermented while others are raised in a singular cuvee and then blended.  Some extended skin contact and use of new or neutral barrel contributes to the longevity of the blend.
